The Cambridge University Law Society has been actively involved in a number of successful student exchange partnerships for several years. Cambridge students have been given the opportunity to visit locations such as Tel Aviv, Paris and Leiden for a week, giving them a fantastic opportunity to meet students from different parts of the world, sample the local student life, make international connections and even to decide whether to spend a year on an Erasmus programme.
The Society is currently offering exciting student exchanges with the University of Paris II and the University of Leiden, both of which have been kindly sponsored by Herbert Smith. We have forged strong links with both of these institutions and, as a result, have consistently enjoyed well-organised and entertaining exchanges with them both.
We are currently looking to extend the range of programmes offered, and would be very interested to hear from anybody who has particular links with any other foreign institution and would like to propose an additional exchange. We would also be particularly interested to hear from any potential sponsors of our established schemes or any future projects.
The application procedure for both exchanges will be announced by email to the whole society. Applicants will be asked to submit a brief application form and attend a short interview. If you would like any more information on our exchange programme before then, or would like to offer any assistance or ideas, then please do not hesitate to contact us at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it or This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
