Dear All,

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to a brand new year for the Cambridge University Law Society and one that I hope will continue to uphold the Law Soc's enviable reputation as the most vibrant and exciting society in the whole of Cambridge.

Our aim this year is to breathe a breath of fresh air into the Law Soc, building upon the successes of previous years and moving the Society in the direction its members want it to take. We have an action packed calendar this year including our normal dazzling array of fantastic social events, some fascinating speakers and a programme of careers events, workshops and interactive firm sessions to help everybody on the road to a successful legal career.

Along with the new we also aim to consolidate our current position and many of the old favourites will be reinvigorated by the injection of more life and indeed more money.

All in all we aim this year to take the society forward and continue the enormous growth it has experienced over the last few years and hope to maintain it as so vibrant and exciting a society for members all over Cambridge. As I said in my speech at Annual Dinner, in a catchphrase that shall forever mark my Presidency: this year shall be "Bigger, Better, Greedier!"
