why does all of this matter to you?

BLP is an exciting, ambitious,  dynamic and entrepreneurial firm. Yet when recruiting trainees, our focus is on quality rather than quantity. As a result, our trainees are rewarded with a high degree of responsibility and involvement underpinned by an exceptional standard of training and support. BLP has always prided itself on providing the right environment for people to grow. Trainees spend six months in four seats and progress is reviewed every three months. All our people believe that BLP is a genuinely innovative and friendly firm with a refreshing lack of hierarchy, our open-door policy is something that our trainees value tremendously. An induction covers the practical aspects of working in a law firm, from billing to client care. There are technical education programmes for each department, with weekly skills sessions and seminars for trainees as well as Professional Skills Courses.

 lpc+

The firm runs the UK’s first tailor-made LPC Course, called the LPC+. All trainees will study at the College of Law, Moorgate where tutors are joined by BLP lawyers and trainers who help to deliver some of the sessions, using BLP precedents and documents, discussing how theory is applied to real cases and transactions.
