We offer just 22 training contracts each year and there are opportunities for secondment to our Dubai and Hong Kong offices, as well as to national and international clients. Our Hong Kong office also offers training contracts to qualify in Hong Kong.

Ideally, we look for candidates who have achieved at least 28 UCAS points or equivalent and a strong 2:1 performance in their first degree at university. We look for candidates who can demonstrate that they have a strong commercial awareness through relevant work experience of both a legal and general nature. The ability to analyse problems, apply common sense and provide solutions to situations are all qualities we seek. Ultimately Clyde & Co recruits to retain and we are seeking candidates who will remain with the firm beyond qualification.
