"The best ball outside of May Week"

The Cambridge University Law Society Ball 2011 Committee invites you to a night of fine dining, dancing and opulence set amongst splendour only Paris can offer. Sponsored this year by Hogan Lovells, the Law Ball promises enticing entertainments, mouth-watering sustenance and free flowing drink, ensuring that, once again, it will be the premier event of Michaelmas Term. Photographers will be around to capture the magic of the event, with all photos later published on facebook. Those who wish to purchase them will also be able to do so.

On Friday 18th November guests will be whisked away from Queen's Backs to a world of irresistible style and charm. Awaiting them will be a decadent drinks reception, a formal sit-down meal and an open bar. Following an evening of explosive entertainment guests will be returned to central Cambridge by approximately 2.30am.

The ticket sale will take place at 4pm on Saturday 29th October in the Law Faculty Basement. Tickets are priced at £55 for CULS members or £75 for non-members including an optional £3 charitable donation. This year we are proud to be supporting the Cambridge Citizens Advice Bureau. There is a strict maximum of two tickets per person. A CULS membership card will be required for every member ticket purchased. Please bear in mind that the incredibly limited number of tickets will sell out fast so we strongly recommend arriving at least an hour before the sale is scheduled to begin to avoid disappointment.

For those who feel like chancing their luck we will be raffling off a pair of tickets in advance of the ticket sale. Raffle tickets will be available from the CULS stand at the Fresher's Fair on the 4th and 5th October, or alternatively in the Law Faculty (times to be confirmed) and will be priced at £2 each.

Dress code: Black Tie.

Want to perform at the "best ball outside of May Week"? Come along to the Cambridge Law Society Ball auditions on 22nd October for a chance to perform at the Law Ball on 18th November.
